Every day, 75 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done.

In the past few years, I have been working with a small group of women who survived breast cancer and are still battling the ongoing side effects from the surgery, chemo and other treatments. This fierce group of women  never give up and are so full hope and passion for life. 

This year, I am honored to be part of the Toronto Pheonix team in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. I am helping change the future of breast cancer. I am running in honour of these incredible women in my life, and I need your support!
