To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

On a personal note, the last 4 years was really tough coming to the realization that life can be suddenly very short and it's important to let the people you love know that you love them in all the ways that you can. I lost a friend to breast cancer during COVID Lockdown. She was in remission a couple of years back and then lost her father to late stage cancer before her cancer came back and metastasized to her bones and it was just coming to terms that we won't be able to see each other anymore.

One of my closest friends that I met through work was diagnosed with Leukemia the day before we decided to go watch Spiderman: No Way Home. That one hit me really hard. He's in remission now :)

I'm running for all the people I love. All the love ones who are fighting cancer and their caretakers who need the strength to keep going as well.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
