To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

Jan 2023 was the beginning of a journey I never imagined I would have the strength to endure ...

Being Diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (rare type) and finding out I also have the BRCA1 gene that took my mothers life at the young age of 36, was devistating to say the least. 

One and a half years, 6 surgeries, 6 months of chemo and a few hiccups later and I am still here and still fighting to remain HERE with all of you .. Although my journey is not over (2 more surgeries to go ) I am thrilled to be a part of this Run for the Cure, Research is so important especially with Rare subtypes like mine .. please share post and give only what you can .. every bit is appreciated and I love you all for your ongoing support
