As many of you know, my daughter-in-law Annette has been battling breast cancer this year.  She has been through chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and is just finishing up her radiation sessions.  Considering what she has been through, she is doing very well.  We are so blessed to have such a great medical system and such caring and dedicated doctors and nurses that have been a part of her journey.

This Sunday, October 6, three generations of Carmans will be taking part in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure to support breast cancer research and support programs and services for those affected by this terrible disease.  I will be walking with my son Jason, my daughter-in-law Annette and my granddaughter Amelia to show support for this very worthy cause and to raise much needed funds.
