I am once again running the 5km route in the Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.  By participating in this year’s run, I am showing my support for all those who have battled or are currently battling this disease, as well as for those awaiting the results of mammography’s, ultrasounds and/or biopsies. 

I continue to run in honor of my sisters who both lost their lives to cancer, as well as all the people in my life who have been affected by this disease.

Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.”

Contribute what you can to help me achieve my fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation funds the best breast cancer research and the largest support system in the country for people affected by breast cancer.

Together, we can change the future of breast cancer.

Hopefully, one day, “you have cancer” or “your cancer is back” will be nonexistent. Until then I continue to run.
