I was diagnosed with advanced Stage III, triple negative inflammatory breast cancer in February of 2022 when I was 34 years old. Since that time I went through 20 weeks of maximum dense dose neoadjuvant chemo (carboplatin, paclitaxel, doxirubicin and cyclophosphamide), a non-skin sparing modified radical mastectomy with 13 axillary nodes removed, 25 max dose radiation treatments with bolus, 18 weeks of max dose capcitabine oral chemo, second mastectomy, and then prophylactic total hysterectomy with ovaries, tubes, uterus and cervix removed, finishing in August of 2023. 


I carry BRCA1, ATM, MSH6 and MUYTH mutations. 


A year ago I could hardly walk up a flight of stairs, today I run up to 30k a week.


Cancer sucks, I run because I can. And that’s pretty cool.
