I’ve set my goal high this year $1,000 and NEED YOUR HELP to reach it.

We ALL know of someone who has been impacted by breast cancer unfortunately, this year I know someone personally my dear friend of 50 years.

 It is because of everyone who has ever donated to the (Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation) Canadian Cancer Society, that she had early detection and now treatment that has allowed her to continue to live her amazing life as Principal of a school with 1200 children (I tell her all the time she’s a better mother than any of us ever could be with biological children certainly more patience).  With that treatment, she is on the mend and ready for another school year in September!

 It is ONLY because of donations like yours through the Canadian Cancer Society’s CIBC Run for the Cure, that new research grants are given, that result in improvements in early detection and that less invasive treatment options are available.

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
