As a participant of hope, I am running to show my support for all women impacted by breast cancer and fundraising for this year Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

As breast cancer continues to be the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women, touching the lives of so many people every day, we join together to honour and celebrate our loved ones, and make a difference.

Did you know that an estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada alone. In 2020, 2.3 million women were diagnosed with breast cancer and 685,000 deaths. Approximately 0.5-1% of breast cancer occur in men.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
