At the end of August 2023, one of my best friends and favourite people was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 32.

Kelli is the kindest and best person and I am so lucky to call her a close friend. We have shared countless years of friendship and created so many amazing memories. Over the years, she and her family have become family to me. 

On October 6th, I will be participating in her honour and fundraising to support the advancement for all affected by this disease.

In her honour, I will be participating in this year's event and am hoping to raise as much money as possible to help those affected by this horrible disease.

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
