In 2022, My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Her journey was one filled with courage and resilience. Throughout her battle, my mom endured 16 rounds of chemotherapy, a daunting surgery and another 16 rounds of radiation therapy. Each day was a testament to her strength, and she never failed to radiate positivity. This fight demonstrated my mom's hope, drive, determination and the power of the human spirit. Today my mom proudly stands as a survivor, a testament to the unyielding will to overcome any battle ahead and embrace life's challenges head on. I am proud to walk by her side for this year, and all the years to come; she is an inspiration to me and my younger brothers. 

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.
