To show my support for all Canadians impacted by cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024. With your help, I pledge to CRUSH my fundraising goal of $200 and help make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will go towards cancer research, support programs and services for those impacted.

Now for the personal part...if you're like me...it seems every couple of years someone you know is burdened with a new fight against Cancer. It becomes a battle everyday for that individual and their entire family, one where no amount of support is enough. It takes the whole village to make an impact, and every dollar counts.

And if you're even more like me...you've been through your fair share of injuries. I am no longer the spring chicken I once was, and I've recently marked two calendar years since my last knee surgery - making this 5k the perfect challenge and a milestone for my long-term recovery.
