I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in January of this year. I was a new mom, my husband and I had just moved into our first home as a family of three, and we had so many plans ahead of us. All of that came to a devastating halt. Instead of our trip to Disney, it was trips to multiple doctors' offices. Instead of afternoon park hangs with my son, it was chemo treatments.

We are fortunate enough as a family that we had an endless amount of support from family and friends, and enough financial support to weather this storm as a family, but not everyone has the privelege we do.

That's why I am fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, to help support the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease, including me!
