Dearest Friend,

I have learned a great deal over the last year and a half. Among those things I have learned is that it takes a village to get a person through the cancer journey. I am very fortunate to have had a great support system and if it weren't for this community I would not be here today. There are not enough words of appreciation that I can say that will truly reflect how thankful I am for these people.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.

Please donate today. I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope.

For all of the millions of women who have suffered with this disease and for the future of our daughters, granddaughters, nieces and friends it is so important that a cure is found!
