This past year, cancer reared its ugly head yet again, this time with my very good friend Kim. It was so hard to see such a strong woman go through such a terrible disease. Lucky her prognosis is positive, but that is not the case for everyone.

Like many of you, cancer has touched our lives in so many ways, including our son Max.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.
