I'm running my first Run for The Cure on October 6th to support the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year. I've never run a 5k before, but raising money for cancer research, support programs, and services is important to me.

I lost two of my grandmothers to cancer and one to breast cancer. With proper funding better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible.
