To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.  

 

I was 35 years old when I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.  I had a 2.5-year-old daughter and a 4-month-old daughter and was scared I wouldn't get to see them grow up. Thankfully, I was told by my oncologist that there was a new drug I would be given that was a game changer for my type of breast cancer.  This is the drug that saved my life, and it wouldn't have been available to me without the research dollars that made it happen!! 

 

Please donate today!!  It is my hope that we will find a cure so that my daughters will never have to hear the words, "you have breast cancer".
