I am participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure to honor my late grandmother, Sabira Begum, who lost her battle to breast cancer. Every step I take in this 5km run is dedicated to her memory, and to the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
