7 months ago I shared with my family and friends that I've been recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Although, my journey has just begun, I've learned the hurdles that come with cancer goes beyond the physical challenges, including access to medication, emotional and financial support among many others.

Although there is no cure for my diagnosis, I believe we can make strides in ground breaking research to cure many other cancer types including breast cancer.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

Every dollar I raise will fund breast cancer research, support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. I hope to make a life changing difference for many others like me.
