Thirty years ago, in 1994, my sister, Heather Starr Cloth, participated in the Run for the Cure in downtown Toronto, leading a team she founded called Heather’s All Starrs.

In 1995, after she passed away, our family vowed to carry her torch and continue participating in and raising money for the Run for the Cure in her honour.

Year after year, our team has grown and evolved. New generations of Heather’s All Starrs team members were born (Heather’s grandchildren), and additional family members and friends joined our team, some of whom were diagnosed with or had another personal connection to breast cancer. Many iterations of our famous Heather’s All Starrs banner have been proudly carried through the streets of downtown Toronto. We have continuously raised money towards critical advancements in breast cancer research, prevention, treatment, and care. Most importantly, we have continued to come together as a special family and friend tradition to honour Heather's legacy.

2024 will mark our team’s 30th year participating in the Run for the Cure!
