Seventeen years ago, our small family and friends Team Rae of Hope participated in our first Run for the Cure.  It is now Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led event supporting the breast cancer cause.  This event serves as a unifying force, rallying an incredibly dedicated collective of Canadians who show that each of us has a role to play when it comes to taking on cancer.

On Sunday October 6, our Team, lead by my mother Rae, will take part in this event supporting the breast cancer cause. Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among Canadian women. But thanks to you, important progress is being made. The CIBC Run for the Cure gives families, friends, and supporters the opportunity to join in honoring their loved ones and making a real difference. It is a cause that is extremely important to our family.
