Thanks to early detection I was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer- stage zero pre cancerous cells. I subsequently had 2 lumpectomies in late 2014, following by radiation Jan- Feb 2015. I am grateful for the treatment I received at Princess Margaret Hospital and the friends and family who drove me to my daily appointments. 9 years later I am thank god still cancer free!
