I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October 2021. Flash forward a year, I am a SURVIVOR! Like so many other women this came as a shock with little to no warning signs. Unfortunately I am not unique, an estimated 27,700 or 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year in Canada.  

 I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022 for all of the unexpected women who will be diagnosed this year and every year.

 I am blessed to be a SURVIVOR but better treatment options and survival outcomes with allow me and so many others to THRIVE for years to come.
