For those who don’t know me, I’m Robyn Goldman, and this is my first year participating in the Run for a Cure.‍♀

I’m joining this event because it resonates deeply with my personal journey. In 2021, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer at the age of 33 and received treatment at North York General Hospital and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The battle became even more personal in 2022 when my mom was diagnosed with DCIS. Thankfully, both of us are now in remission, but our experiences have shown us just how vital it is to support causes like this one.

Events like this run are crucial for raising awareness and funding essential research that can make a difference in the lives of those affected.
