My connection with breast cancer started in 2010 when my sister Cathy was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.  We joined the CIBC run that year and have been part of the CIBC Run ever since.  On October 3rd, 2016 she was the Survivor Speaker and unfortunately that was her last CIBC walk she attended.

You wonder if we lose faith in raising funds.  My sister was part of a lot of Trial Treatments and I believe that is what kept her here a little longer with us.  It wasn't easy for her with all the side affects but she continued to fight.  Part of our fundraising goes to research and trial treatment. I continue to do this in memory of my sister Cathy, I do this for myself, my daughter and my nieces.  

So here we are in 2024 with our Young a New team "Breast Buddies". Let's Walk together.  Let's Run Together! Let's Fundraise Together!
