I’m running for my friend Loretta, an 8-year survivor, and her mom, Florence, whose life was taken by breast cancer just before Loretta’s diagnosis.

Loretta’s early disagnosis (of a completely different type of breast cancer) came because she got tested after her mom was diagnosed.

She credits that early testing with saving her life.

The money raised during Run For The Cure saves many lives and it’s been a mission of Loretta’s and everyone who loves her to raise as much money as possible during this event. Our first run was just weeks after Loretta’s first surgery and either our whole team or Loretta as an individual has been in the top fundraising spot in their category every single year since - a testimony to Loretta’s drive to support this cause.
