1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. I heard these words in August 2016. I have undergone surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and have had some complications from breast cancer, including a compression fracture. I am a survivior and one of the lucky ones. I lost my dear mom to breast cancer in October 2016.

I participate in the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure because I want to do my part to try to find a cure for breast cancer
