Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” Our captain, Loretta, heard those words in August 2016 at a time that her mother, Florence, was also battling breast cancer. Two weeks after Loretta's surgery, Team Loretta's Lucky Charms, was created & we participated in our first Run for the Cure. We've been participating every year since. While many Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done. 
By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure,  we’re joining a collective that is a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer.  We’re running in honour of all the incredible people in our lives who have been impacted by breast cancer & in honour of Florence Coady who lost her battle with breast cancer in October 2016 and we need your help!
