To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer, a harsh truth that means that almost all Canadians will have a loved one who gets diagnosed with this condition. I think fondly of my amazing mom, who has championed breast cancer and who continues to inspire and love me, my brother, and my father.
