Hello, my name is Daniella, and my mother was diagnosed with breast and skin cancer. My mother has passed away due to cancer, and my whole family and I are greatly impacted by this loss, and miss her so much. Nobody should have to lose people they love so dearly to a disease. That is why my father and I are doing this run to raise money for women like my mother to one day live a life that's cancer free! We would appreciate it so much if you could donate to the cause! Keep in mind that even one dollar = one step further.

This run is extremely important to me, and really gives me and so many other families a sense of hope and community. You don't have to have cancer, or know someone that does to participate in this run. Participating means that you want to fight cancer for not just yourself, a family member, or a friend, but for the world in entirety. Running may not seem like much help to you, but it's the thought of wanting to push through and show people that do have cancer that they are never alone.

An estimated 27,700 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.
