Every year, CIBC participates in many causes/fundraisers to promote awareness for certain diseases that touch many Canadians.

Breast cancer research is an ongoing process in which we hope one day we see an end.

We fight for those who are impacted and with even the smallest donations, we can make an immense difference in their lives not only for research but towards various support systems implemented in hospitals and public avenues for them and their families. Over 6000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year in Quebec alone. Many of us have been touched one way or another from this cruel disease.

There is a sentiment of pride and accomplishment when we support in any which way we can.

P.S. Did you know? Fundraising $300 can fund help provide healthy home-cooked meals for guests at a Canadian Cancer Society lodge during their stay. Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
