An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. This year, I was one of them. It was shocking and terrifying but there is HOPE. Because of research, I have been able to benefit from some of the latest advancements. My success in beating cancer comes directly from all those who came before me. Those who researched, tested, learned and vowed to find a better way. And for that, I am eternally grateful. 

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Lodge guests receive wholesome foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, and meals customized to their dietary needs – including those arising from cancer treatment, like liquid and soft food diets.
