I'm challenging myself: run my very first 5K! Yes, me!

Me that was not even running to cross the street when the bus was at the stop and I was late. I, who today prefers to take the plane for any trip, am going to swap the uncomfortable seats of economy class for running shoes for a day in order to support cancer research.

Cancer has left its mark on our lives, and many of us have felt its pain up close. I not only want to honor the strength and courage of my aunts, my uncles and my best friend who fought and who are still fighting but also contribute in my own way to a future where this disease will no longer be so frightening and devastating.

I am asking you (I who don't like to ask) to join me in this adventure, not only with your encouragement, but also with a financial gesture that could change lives.
