In December 2021, we finally received the good news that Grandma Luce had won her battle with cancer. A true warrior, who like other women before her, found herself in a battle against breast cancer. The preceding months had been a roller-coaster ride: fear, grief, stress, and love stronger than all. This incredible woman was a true model of courage, perseverance and tenacity.

This year, my goal is to raise funds and support those affected by this terrible disease. The funds raised will help finance breast cancer research projects and support programs and services for those affected. Thanks to these efforts, today there are better treatment options and better chances of survival.
