To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. Yes, this run is to raise money for breast cancer, but I will still be participating in this event in memory of André, someone who had a meaningful impact on my life and who we lost last summer. Every step I take in this run is a tribute to André and all those affected by cancer.

Hopefully, this will raise awareness on the importance of early cancer screening and how early detection can save lives.
