On October 6, myself and several coworkers will be participating the CIBC Run for the Cure as The Breast Inspectors team. With 1 in 8 Canadian women expected to develop breast cancer in their lifetime, your support matters more than ever. As medical imaging technologists, we are there from a patient’s initial mammogram, to their eventual biopsy and diagnosis, to their staging CT scans, and often through to their surgical intervention and recovery.
