Hi everyone,

As most of you know, my Mom, Jackie, passed away from breast cancer in 2009. Since then, unfortunately, life has dealt some crappy breast cancer cards to my friends and family.

Although we walk under the team name Journey for Jackie, I walk for all my friends and family who have fought or are currently fighting this disease. I walk for Karen. I walk for Auntie Lisa. I walk for Mel and Georgia and all the fighters out there.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
