In 2016,my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. She received treatments and now she is well and healthy. That fall was the first year I ran in the CIBC Run for the Cure. I was strong and healthy and I wanted to do something to help women, like my friend, so that they can have every opportunity through research to get the best treatments available. I have continued to run and raise funds each year since. When I think of all the mothers,sisters,friends,daughters and granddaughters that are affected by this disease every year, I know we must continue to support this cause. I THANK YOU if you have contributed to my fundraising in the past and I hope that you will donate again this year because together we can make a difference for all those women that we love.

A special young lady that we love was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in 2021 so my husband Duane signed up with me as a team.      He walked and raised funds in 2021, 2022, 2023 and is signed up again this year.   The run this year will be in Regina on Oct 6, 2024.   Our team has changed over the years.  We had family and friends join.  Marlies, Yolanda, Melissa, Nikki and Kylie joined the last 2 years.   We would welcome you to join us too.
