My niece Laura Lehne was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She was originally diagnosed in 2018 with Paget’s Disease of the Breast, a rare form of breast cancer. This is often misdiagnosed as “eczema”, as it was in her case. After a lumpectomy, and radiation she was given the “all clear”. Three years later, and numerous doctor visits, her back pain was actually diagnosed  as metastatic breast cancer to the bone and liver.

Laura will never be cured she lives with cancer now. She is a witty, kind and caring person. She will tell her story to anyone who will listen, if it helps one person fight for proper diagnosis and treatment she has done what she set out to do.
