I'll never forget the feeling of complete fear and heartbreak when my son and daughter-in-law called with the news that Aaron Leigh's results were positive for Triple Negative Breast Cancer when she was 22 weeks pregnant with my first grandchild. A call that no one ever wants.

That was two years ago. 

Since then she has fought hard, gone through chemo treatments while pregnant, delivered our adorabable grandson who is now 19 months old, continued chemo treatments, radiation and had 2 surgeries. She is now receiving immunotherapy treatments and is doing well. All while this has been going on, she has become a beautiful loving mother and she's truly sronger than cancer as she has so much to fight for and will never give up.  

I will walk along side her and everyone who comes out on Oct 1st to help cancer research to find a cure as it's my wish that no woman, no mother, no grandmother ever has to go through this in the future.
