Did you know that 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer?

Hi everyone. It’s Megan. I just wanted to let you know what the donations help with. Not only do they help fund research, the money helps provide cancer patients with products and services needed during and post treatments. For example, it helps cover the cost of things like medication, wigs, prosthetics, transportation to and from chemotherapy treatments and so much more. After my mastectomy, I was provided with supplies needed to live a "normal" life. I will be on special cancer medications for the next 5 years. Thanks to the Canadian Cancer Society and donations, my medications are supplied at no cost to me. Hearing the words "you have cancer" was devastating. It's mentally, emotionally and physically exhausting. I'm hoping I can help ease the burden for many cancer patients. Will you help me?

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians, including myself, that are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.
