In April 2023 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lobular Breast Cancer at 39 years old. Our world was rocked but our focus was doing everything in our power to fight this awful disease. My fight so far has included 16 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, 15 radiation treatments, and ongoing hormone treatments. I still have years of treatment and more surgery ahead of me. I couldn’t have got through any of it without God and the incredible support of my husband, daughters and the community around us. We have felt loved and cared for each step of the way! I am thankful to be in remission and look forward to the day I can say I’m cancer free!!
