To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. Before my diagnosis I knew only 2 people diagnosed with this disease. Since my diagnosis only 4 years ago, I have seen 4 more of my friends diagnosed with breast cancer!

All of us considered “young” for this kind of diagnosis. Women of all ages are being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer every year.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
