To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. As some may know, in May, I lost my dear friend of over 40 years to Triple Negative Breast Cancer. “Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive type of invasive breast cancer. TNBC differs from other types of invasive breast cancer in that it tends to grow and spread faster, has fewer treatment options, and tends to have a worse prognosis (outlook).”

Every dollar I raise will fund breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
