Fredericton: Amanda Carswell - CIBC Run for the Cure

Fredericton

Amanda Carswell

On October 27, 2020 my wife Amanda was diagnosised with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. By the time she was diagnosed the cancer had already metastasized to her liver, kidneys, lungs, sternum, pelvis and lumbar spine. In December of 2021 it had spread to her brain.

But despite all this, Amanda carried on as a loving wife and mother. Caring for her children and running the house, all with a smile on her face, an ear open to listen to others heartaches and an infectious laughter.

On July 21 Amanda succumbed to the cancer that she valiantly fought for so long. And even at the end she was still smiling brilliantly.
Her legacy will be carried on in her two beautiful girls, Edie and Nora, and a husband who felt more love with her then a thousand lifetimes.
