Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.”My daughter Megan was one of them.  At the age of 30 she was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer.  After a mastectomy, radiation and chemo she thought she was in the clear. She was not.  One year later she was told she had metastatic breast cancer.  It had spread to her lungs and brain.  At the age of 33 she passed away.  

Byparticipating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, I’m helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians affected by breast cancer. I’m running in honour of the incredible peoplein my life, and I need your support!
