Join me and help change the future of breast cancer!

As a recent breast cancer survivor I know what fundraising for cancer research has meant to many families. Donations and the research it funds has meant many children still have mothers, husbands still have wives, and parents still have daughters.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. I am one of those women.

In November 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer after I found a lump. After many tests at Princess Margaret Hospital, surgery in January 2022 and radiation in April, I have been cancer free for over a year and can enjoy many years to come with my family.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
