Researching and fighting cancer is a cause near and dear to my heart. Cancer has affected the lives of people in my family, and the lives of the patients I work with at The Ottawa Hospital every day. 

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. 

This year, to show my support for Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating in—and fundraising for—the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

I have a modest goal of raising $300, and with your help, maybe someone's path can be a little easier; maybe their prognosis can be just a little bit better. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
