In April of 2023, my mom was diagnosed with invasive ductual carcinoma. This diagnosis came with so many questions and worries, but one thing was certain, I was going to be there for her every step of the way. From lumpectomy to mastectomy and finally radiation, she showed us all what true strength and determination looked like. One year later and she is cancer free and starting to enjoy life again with her family still cheering her on, 

Throughout the course of my moms journey we found just how important breast cancer research and supports were to those fighting and in remission. 
So this year, I'm running in the CIBC Run for the Cure in honour of the strongest, bravest person I know, my mom!
