Welcome to My Fundraising Page!
It’s my fifth year participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure. I’m really grateful that I still have the stamina and health to participate in this meaningful cause.
This year, we learn how alarming a pandemic could be, but if you know that 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her life time, you realize it’s a bigger threat to all Canadian women! Each breast cancer patient can tell you how demanding it is on her body and soul.
I was lucky enough to have been cured with my cancer and it’s only made possible because of the research and the great care I received from my healthcare team. We rely on our scientists to come up with faster diagnostic mechanisms, more effective drugs, and better treatments. Researches like that all require time and funds. For that I need your help. Please support me by donating today, or better still, join my team!
This year I have a special person to run for, Jason, my nephew. Jason passed away this year of Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. He was a brave young man and he’s a fighter. We all missed him a lot. I truly believe that the cure will be there one day, more research just need to be done.
Because of the pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually, but I will still complete my 5km walk on or before October 4th.
Thank you for supporting me!
