Hello everyone, it is time for our team to start our annual fundraising for the Run For The Cure Campaign. I was first diagnosed in 2014 with Breast Cancer. With the help, love and support from my family and friends I made it through radiation and chemotherapy. After 5 years I thought I was clear. Unfortunately my breast cancer returned and I've been under various treatments since April 2020. Given that I am Stage 4, my medical plan is immunotherapy treatment every 3 weeks, a monthly injection and a daily pill. I have regular scheduled scans to ensure that I stay stable. There are many people who are "living with cancer", so I need to remain positive and have faith that the research that is being done today will be beneficial to all of us in the future.

Our lives were really impacted when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. We changed how we did things to try to keep our friends and family safe. Unfortunately Cancer did not come to a halt. I am very sad for the friends and family we have lost this past year, and for those who have been recently diagnosed with cancer.

As I said in 2014, I will continue to walk to raise awareness and to raise funds for Cancer Research every year. Not giving up yet! There is Always HOPE.
